Valerian Hughes Luxury Ready to Wear

The Valerian Hughes luxury ready-to-wear line first debuted in Paris in 2008. This couture brand, which draws its name from its creator Valerian HUGHES, is for women seeking an elegant and understated look. Through harmony of tones and shape, Valerian Hughes designs for a modern and contemporary woman; femininity and refinement are his credo. The designer flatters feminine lines and curves through a delicate blend of folds, ruffles, asymmetry and covered buttons. All his work is about detail with a perfect couture finish. While being well aware of the "classics," he remains ahead of the latest trends. As a result, Valerian Hughes appeals to a large audience.

His worldliness already garnered attention at several prestigious occasions: he created costumes for an opera singer sponsored by BOUCHERON; all costumes for a play, "LES DEMOISELLES D'AVIGNON"; an ouffit that was worn at the AMFAR event in Cannes; auctioned one of his dresses at an evening organized by Cornette De St Cyr to benefit UNICEF; had a runway show at Peking where he received a standing ovation; and is supported by the Chamber of Commerce of Industry in Paris and from the General Counsel of Hauts de Seine.

In 2010, the designer will exhibit his summer collection in the prestigious salon of the Potocki Hotel.
